Prabhsimran Singh Destroys DC Bowling

Opener Prabhsimran Singh was the star of the chase, scoring 76 runs off just 26 deliveries. He reached his fifty in only 18 balls, putting PBKS in complete control during the powerplay. His innings included multiple sixes and set the tone for the chase. He was eventually dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav in the 8th over.

Priyansh Arya Gives Flying Start

Priyansh Arya supported Prabhsimran perfectly at the top, scoring a quick 43 runs. The opening pair added 127 runs for the first wicket in just 7 overs. Arya was dismissed by Axar Patel after a fiery start.

Shreyas Iyer Finishes the Job

After two quick wickets in the middle overs, captain Shreyas Iyer took charge of the innings. He scored a brilliant half-century and remained unbeaten to guide Punjab home. Cooper Connolly (17) and Nehal Wadhera (25) also made useful contributions.

Delhi Capitals Struggle

Earlier, Delhi Capitals had posted a competitive total batting first, with KL Rahul registering the highest individual score of IPL 2026 so far. However, their bowlers had no answers to PBKS batting firepower. Lungi Ngidi also suffered a neck injury during the match and had to leave the field.
